A milestone....

Happy Saturday!
My daughter reached a major milestone yesterday.  She took her last high school exam and she has graduated!!!  I'm so proud of her, she's worked so hard. She's looking for a job now to start saving for college and her upcoming trip to Europe.  My son keeps asking if he can have her room when she's gone for extra lego storage.

Here's what I've been painting this week.  It's been good therapy.  I've had a few teary moments thinking about my baby girl growing up and moving on.

Sending love to you and yours, Happy Painting!
♥Jenny

ps: Misty's class rocks!  She is so amazing, I'm so glad I signed up for her class!

  7. Ah yes, I remember the day a few years ago when my daughter graduated from hihg school. Time goes so fast - and then it is the next phase, and somehow we have to let go - and somehow we manage to. Your art is wonderful, delicate and subtle, quite pensive and contemplative.

  14. Jenny,
Congratulations on raising a smart and beautiful girl into such a beautiful woman. She looks so much like you! I'm sure it is bittersweet to think of letting her go, but there are so many adventures to look forward to sharing with her, you won't have much time to look back. Trust me on this!

  16. Your daughter is just beautiful Jenny! Congratulations to her and to you. It does go by fast...I understand those teary moments. My baby is getting married in October and I am not ready for a quiet empty house. He is our piano player as well, so it's going to get awfully quiet.

Your works are really special...I stopped for quite a while on the prayer circle one. Wow. Such a moving piece.
