A message in the clouds...

I was heading home one evening last week when something caught my eye in the night sky.
Do you see it? It's an arrow! The photo doesn't quite do it justice, it was kind of a moment for me.
I took it as a sign that I'm the right path, headed in the right direction. So often I think to myself, "what makes you think you can paint, there are so many people that are better at it. It's meant for someone else, not you." I frequently have to kick those thoughts to the curb because I absolutely love painting and creating. It brings me so much happiness, I never want to quit.
I love art, and all my dear artsy friends.

Big Hugs to you my friends, we're on the right path. ♥

  1. How cool. And remember, no one paints "better" than anyone else--they may be more skilled at it. But it's art coming from you--it's your art, and no one else can do it the same way--kind of like a finger print. I think that everyone should do what makes their heart happy. Don't you just love the feeling when you paint!! I think that's the best part.

  2. love the arrow!
    love your art!
    love you!

  3. Very cool Jenny! And I can relate so much to your words. Thanks for sharing!

  10. woowee! what a great photo of a beautiful sky- so glad you just enjoy your art so much you never let the mean voices stop you! :)

  11. You paint beautifully. We are so hard on ourselves - all of us, aren't we? I love your process - yes, signs and symbols are all around us...letting us know that all is well.

  12. i was looking at the sky yesterday morning. it was greyish white, about to snow and i saw the trail left by an airplane off in the distance. it made me think of what indians or explorers would have thought if they had seen such a thing in the sky without knowing what it was. funny what goes through your mind when you look up!

  13. Thank you precious one, for the boost!
Love you dear sweet number 8...
